Colts, Hire Former Head Coach Jim Tressell As Game Day Consultant?

Former head coach Jim Tressell was hired by the Indianapolis Colts as their game day consultant. What in the world are the Colts thinking. How can the Indianapolis hire Jim Tressell as a game day consultant, when he dinied over and over again. That he did not know anything about his players selling and trading of Ohio State autographed memorabilia for tattoos. Where is Jim Tresell's suspension? Tressell, who was not in control of his players at Ohio State is a consultant for a Pro football team? To me that makes no sense at all.

Terelle Pryor, who was a big part of the Ohio State football program scandal, was going to be suspended for five games at Ohio State. Pryor decided to go to the NFL, so he would not have to serve his suspension at Ohio State. Well Pryor was accepted to be in the NFL supplemental draft, under one condition. He would still have to sit out five games in the NFL, just as he would have at Ohio State. The other players involved in the Ohio State scandal is sitting out their five game suspensions at Ohio State.. Terelle Pryor was taken by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of supplemental draft.

However, Jim Tressell was basically fired from his head coaching position at Ohio State, after he finally admitted that he knew about his players dealings. Now he's a consultant in the NFL? Tressell procalaimed to be a man of integrity and good morals, teaching his players about the fundamentals of life. Tressell was really teaching his players it's all about winning, do everything you can do to win. Sources said, that the scandal has been going on ever since Tressell accepted the Ohio State coaching job. It's a travisty for one of the "great" football programs in all of college football, to suffer all the embarassment. All because their head coach could not control his players.

"Jim Tressell, how can you live with yourself?"

"Ohio States' power house football program has been ruined, now in shambles," because Jim Tressell could not get control of his program. Now he's a game day consultant for the Indianapolis Colts.

In my opinion, Tressell should be banned from any level of football. Jim Tressell not serving any kind of a suspension is a "crime." The players he was supposed to be helping and consulting as college student athletes are serving their suspensions, whether sitting games at Ohio State or in the NFL. Tressell gets hired by a professional football organization, not being punished at all.

"What's wrong with that picture?"

Ohio States recent news:

Three more Buckeyes are in NCAA trouble. Three Ohio State players are suspended for Saturday's opening game against Akron. As the result Ohio State might be in even more trouble with the NCAA. The three players that have been suspended are: (RB) Jordan Hall, (DB) Corey Brown, and (DB) Travis Howard. Each player is being suspended for receiving impermissible benefits of $300 or less earlier this year-after several players were suspended for accepting cash and free tattoos from the subject of a federal drug trafficking probe.
